Another Male Birthday Card

There are lots of birthdays in my family at the moment. This card is for my uncle. I have again tried to include a few challenges.

Penny Black – SketchPink Elephant – Plaids, Brads, No RibbonStamp With Us – Recipe: 2Patterned Papers, 3 Brads, 1 StampI used SU DP from the mini catalogue that ends this month, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Bashful Blue and Whisper White card from SU. I do love these colours together. My 1 stamp is a Penny Black image and the sentiment is a sticker from Big W. Instead of ribbon I used some hemp twine and three silver brads from my stash. I added some crystal effects to the water to give it a wet and shiny look. It has ended up being a fairly clean and simple card…no pretty flowers, lace, ribbons etc. I have one more male card to make before I can get back onto the more feminine styles!

  4. So cute,I love this Alicia!!! The twine looks fabulous with your image and papers!!
In answer to your question,I bought Copic Ciao's,they are the cheapest of them all.The only difference is that there are only 144 colours with the Ciao's and over 300 with the sketch. The sketch can also be used with the air brush, but the Ciao's cannot,I won't be using an airbrush so I chose to go with the cheapest. When I get a chance I will email you a chart that shows all the differences.I hope this helps.

Well I am a freelance television producer, and at present I'm doing a series for Foxtel the w station with Claudia Karvan, other projects were East West 101 – SBS, Rescue Special Operations which I'm about to do another series, and last year I worked on the Gold Coast at Warner Bros, doing The Strip, anyway I could rabbit on for ages….
