PaperPlay DT Card – In Stitches

Good evening Blogging Buddies,
So happy to be a posting my PaperPlay DT card tonight!  This week we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps and I was given this cute little “Balloon Bear” digi-stamp which you can buy for only $3.00 here. 
Over at Stitchy Bear Stamps they also have some digi-stamps and digi-papers on sale for just 99c!  Which you can see here. When I saw “Balloon Bear” I just immediately thought – baby card.  So I made this card up in blues and yellows.  I started with Bashful Blue card stock and layered with yellow SU DP, a paper doily and then some Magnolia DP.
 Our theme this week is “In Stitches” which was a challenge chosen by Heather which is to “add stitching by hand, machine, faux or stamped to your card/project”.  I used my silver gel pen to add faux sitches around my DP and some tiny dotty stitches around my sentiment sticker as shown below.I added some Bashful Blue SU ribbon with stitches on it and three little blue roses in the corner.  I added Kindy-Glitz to the image, the edges of the DP and the flowers for a little bit of sparkle.

    OMG Alicia this is so adorable,love the sparkle and your colouring is awesome!!! BTW thanks for your lovely comment,I think I have damaged the same muscle the gluteus maximus and OMG I am still in pain.I can't sit at the computer for very long and it is so painful to get up of the chair,I also have trouble finding a comfy position for sleeping.Enjoy your week!!
