Paper Play DT – Ribbons, Lace and Lots of Flowers

It is Thursday (thank goodness…only one more day left of the working week) and that means Paper Play day!! I picked the challenge this week and it is ribbons, lace and lots of flowers. I ended up making a Christmas card for this challenge! A large one too! That is a whole A4 piece of craft card stock folded in half…a large piece of cream lace, some wide red and gold Christmas ribbon and some gold ribbon over the top. The flowers are from The Craft Garden and they are very large, but I just love them…I wish I had a huge jar full of them. I could put them on every Christmas card I make…I love using them. I gimmermisted them with gold to add a bit of gold sparkle. You can see it best in the last photo which was taken under the light.

I made the tag which is a Magnolia sentiment stamped in Real Red ink onto Vanilla card stock and layered onto craft card stock. I distressed the edges with my distressing tool, inked them with Vintage Photo and then edged them with gold Kindy Glitz. The cream “furry” paper at the top is from my stash and that was the last bit of it.
