I love to scrap wedding photos…and this wedding photo is from one of my lovely friends, Kylie. The photo has blue and white tones and I thought it would work well with the blue and white papers in the gorgeous new “Stargazer” Collection. I have included a Process Video and Written Tutorial in case you would like to re-create this Stargazer Layout.
Materials Needed:
P2539 Astronomy (background)
P2537 Orbit (Fussy Cutting)
CT937 Collectables
IT031 Stars and Moon Mini Template
White Paint, Texture Paste, Cheesecloth, Glue, Mounting Tape, White Misting Spray
Instructions for Stargazer Layout
(This is how I approached my Layout)
- Choose Photo
- Select appropriate papers
- Fussy Cut flowers and leaves from ORBIT 12×12 Paper.
- Decide on pattern for Layers – A triangle shape
- Choose a Template. Mix White paint with Texture Paste and decorate around edges of layers.
- Add mounting tape to back of photo. Secure in middle of triangle.
- Position flowers into pattern.
- Add in some cheesecloth.
- Add in some leaves.
- Embellish with Collectables and sprays of white mist.
I used the new template: IT031 Stars and Moon Mini Template and I just love the stars in this template. They are so delicately positioned and the white stands out so well on the dark blue paper.
I think my favourite paper from Stargazer is the ORBIT paper. It is perfect for fussy-cutting and adds a nice floral touch to this collection.

I hope this provides you with a little inspiration for the Stargazer collection. I also hope Kylie likes my take on her wedding photo. If you have a moment I’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to leave me a comment below.
Have a beautiful, crafty day,
Alicia xoxo
