Do you like to make cards? Are you loving the Anthology Collection? Last weekend I taught four classes at the Scrapbook and Paper Craft Expo in Brisbane and my Anthology ~ Set of 10 Cards was my most popular class. So I thought I would make another set of Anthology Cards, but this time I chose to add a bit of Mixed Media into the cards as well.
I do enjoy making sets of ten cards. This allows you to have a big stash of cards ready and on hand for those upcoming birthdays or when you need a quick thank you card etc. The sentiments for each of these cards came from the back of the Paper Pad. There are plenty of sentiments at the back of each Kaisercraft Paper Pad that are perfect for adding to a card.
I filmed a Video Tutorial for this Blog Post and I also have a written Step-By-Step Tutorial with photographs to assist you to re-create these cards. I also have a lot of other tutorials on my You Tube Channel, if you are interested in Videos. The corresponding written tutorials are on my blog. All my projects, videos and tutorials feature Kaisercraft Products.

Instructions to Create a Set of 10 Cards:
How to make a Set of 10 Cards using the Anthology Collection and a few Mixed Media techniques.
Step One
Prepare Base Cards by painting on some water colour stripes and then inking the edges with Bark Ink.
Step Two
Use Templates and a Mixture of Inks (Gum leaf, Vine and Red Gum) to create another layer on the base of each card.
Step Three
Choose 1 sheet from the 6 1/2 inch Paper Pad. Cut it in half at 3 1/4 inches. Cut each half into 1 1/4 inch strips. This will give you ten strips measuring 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 inches. Ink edges with Bark Ink.
Step Four
Choose two papers from Paper Pad to use for the Texture Honeycomb Die. Cut five die cuts and then cut each one in half to make ten, one for each card.
Step Five
Position die cut and paper strip onto each card. Staple to attach.
Step Six
Choose some stamps and stamp onto card with Bark Ink.
Step Seven
Embellish each card with Collectables, Wooden Flourishes, Sentiments from Paper Pad and yellow sewing thread. Attach with a mixture of foam tape and liquid glue.
Step Eight
Spritz with brown misting spray.
Step Nine
Stamp bird on branch on the inside of each card with Bark Ink.
Step Ten
Stamp bird in glass jar stamp onto matching envelopes.
