Tutorial ~ Mountain Air Publication Layout

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a Masculine Layout Tutorial to share today using Kaisercraft’s Mountain Air Collection.  This Layout is featured in this month’s Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine.  It is called “Gone Fishing”.

Materials Needed:

Papers:

Mountain Air Collection

P2578 Blue Jeans, P2579 Tree Trunks, P2580 Rugged, P2581 Strong, PS536 Outdoors – Acetate,

KC Product:

SS366 Sticker Sheet, FL630 Flourish Pack – Adventurer, T302 Foam Dots, T321 Acid Free Craft Glue, LDB1056 Foam Tape, T314 Double Sided Tape, IP724 Bark Ink.

Other: Brown Misting Spray, Twine

Masculine Layout Tutorial Step By Step Instructions:

Step 1

Ink edges of STRONG in Bark Ink. This will become the base page for your layout.

Step 2

Fussy cut pockets from BLUE JEANS. Ink edges in Bark Ink

Step 3

Position in stepped layers on left-hand side of STRONG.

Step 4

Cut strips and Compass from OUTDOORS ACETATE.

Step 5

Position Strips and Compass onto layout following stepped design.

Step 6

Add arrows from Sticker Sheet in four lines on Layout.

Step 7

Add chevron borders from Sticker Sheet in four lines on Layout.

Step 8

Fussy cut seven fish from TREE TRUNKS (Reverse).

Step 9

Adhere Fish with Foam Tape Dots into stepped layered design.

Step 10

Mount photo onto RUGGED with foam tape and position into middle of stepped layers on Layout.

Step 11

Add half a tree, mountain, tent, footprints and “Gone Fishing” stickers to cluster on right-hand side of photo. (see video footage)

Step 12

Add more trees, fire and compass stickers above and on left-hand side of photo.

Step 13

Glue in a little fish wooden flourish on mountain and a fishing hook on twine behind compass sticker. Spritz with Brown misting spray.
